Mr.Rick Dalala has extensive experience as an operator in industry and in finance. His track record includes corporate experience with two multinationals in the industrial field, strategic planning for a major oil company, and a founder and partner in several new business ventures. His financial expertise is in both the asset management & the investment banking side (he has been both on the buy and on the sell side of the investment business). He combines engineering/industrial expertise with an in-depth knowledge in finance.
In 2000, Mr. Dalala co-founded Intercap Partners to provide Investment Banking services to Mid-Tier private market companies in Canada. His current assignments include advising clients in industry and technology on mergers and acquisitions and capital-raising, with particular emphasis on equity and cash-flow based financing.
As a Chartered Business Valuator, he also provides independent business valuation services in accordance with the Canadian standards, or the USPAP requirements for US based clients.
Mr. Dalala has a bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering as well as an M.B.A with a specialization in Finance from McGill University. He is a Chartered business valuator and a member of the US based M & A source, the American Society of Appraisers and the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators (CICBV).
